Sauna & Eventsauna Area

Our sauna worlds offer the perfect sauna experience to suit every taste. At Sauna-Almdorf, you’ll find traditional saunas, a steam bath, infrared heat and cosy relaxation areas.

A particular highlight is the ‘Hot & Cold’ event sauna area. Themed infusions, the impressive ice palace, a Soledom, infrared cabins and the extraordinary spherical sauna ensure a varied range of wellness experiences and turn every visit to the sauna into a special occasion.

A real experience

Hot & Cold Event Sauna

A varied programme of themed infusions, a spacious event sauna with panoramic views, and highlights such as the Ice Palace, the Soledom, the outdoor cold-water pool and the stylish lounge tea bar make every visit to the sauna a special experience. Particularly popular with our guests is the Kuglsauna, which hovers high above the gardens and offers a unique view of the surrounding mountains.

Ice Palace A sparkling, chilly room with glittering ice crystals, changing themed video walls, illuminated heated seats made of transparent plastic, and an ice fountain with an ice flake generator (snowflakes).

Lounge Tea Bar: Hot and cold drinks in a lounge characterised by understated elegance and sumptuous details, designed for comfort and relaxation.
Soledom: An atmospheric brine temple featuring illuminated salt crystals – the specially controlled indoor climate, with finely atomised brine, is particularly effective at cleansing the skin, mucous membranes and airways; special comfort loungers, with optional infrared heating, ensure optimal relaxation.

Almdorf Sauna

Tradition and cosiness characterise the Sauna-Almdorf at the Peternhof. Whether it’s the log sauna, alpine sauna, parlour sauna, steam bath or infrared cabin – everyone can find their own ideal temperature here.

The Brechelbad, with its soothing herbal vapours and natural materials, offers a very gentle sauna experience and combines traditional Tyrolean sauna culture with relaxation.

Vitalgarten

The Vitalgarten is a place to unwind. At its heart is the spacious indoor pool, surrounded by various wellness areas where water, warmth and light come together in perfect harmony. The facilities are complemented by a range of saunas, steam rooms and cosy relaxation areas that invite you to switch off and enjoy yourself.

As a designated quiet zone, the Vitalgarten is reserved for guests aged 16 and over.

Our Vitalgarten is being redesigned – with even more space for peace, relaxation and special moments of well-being amidst the Tyrolean mountains.

Bano Real

Inspired by the traditional bathhouses of the Orient, the Bano Real transports you to a world of tranquillity and sensuality. Stylish courtyards, splashing water features and lovingly designed oases of calm create a special atmosphere in which to relax.

Look forward to the Al Arabia, various courtyards and saltwater areas, a Kneipp facility, and the traditional hammam, which can be booked for a fee.
